Reference: | Liu Q et al.(2013) Nitrosative stress plays an important role in Wnt pathway activation in diabetic retinopathy Antioxid. Redox Signal. 18: 1141-1153 [PMID: 23066786] |
Interaction Information:
Comment | Elevated levels of phosphorylated LRP6 and nonphosphorylated beta-catenin were observed at 20 min of peroxynitrite (PN) treatment, demonstrating activation of the Wnt pathway. The Wnt signaling induced by PN was significantly attenuated by uric acid (UA), a natural scavenger of PN. These results suggested that nitrosative stress contributes to activation of the Wnt-signaling pathway. |
