Comment Exposure to xanthine/xanthine oxidase (X/XO) superoxide dissociated SOD1 from Rac1. SOD1 lost its ability to inhibit GTP hydrolysis by Rac1 in the presence of the xanthine/xanthine oxidase (X/XO) superoxide generating system.
