Comment There was no statistically significant difference in vaspin levels between the study and control groups at baseline. In addition, patient age, body mass index, duration of diabetes, gender, blood pressure, peripheral neuropathy, and family history of cardiovascular disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, diabetic foot ulcer, heart disease, nephropathy, erectile dysfunction, and dyslipidemia were not significantly different between the study and control groups.
