Comment The fact that the treatment of PKA activator, cAMP, led to increased p-CREB and PGC-1a in a dose-dependent manner which could be completely abolished by specific PKA inhibitor H89 suggesting that the PKA/CREB pathway plays an important role in reduced expression of PGC-1a in APPswe M17 cells. Treatment of H89 could lead to further decreased levels of p-CREB and PGC-1a in APPswe M17 cells.
