Interaction Information:

Comment If the reversal of hyperglycemia, increased glucose tolerance, and insulin sensitivity are related to decreased ER stress, PBA-treated ob/ob mice should display a reduction in indicators of ER stress. In PBA treated ob/ob mice, PERK and IRE-1alpha phosphorylation in liver was markedly reduced in comparison with vehicle-treated ob/ob controls. Similar results were also observed in adipose tissue of PBA-treated ob/ob mice.
